As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license, and you may respond to calls for assistance across the campus while delivering a strong customer-service experience. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and coordinating with site leadership and/or local responders as directed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter, checking for unusual activity, unsecured doors, and/or policy concerns; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
Monitor access points and help manage visitor flow by verifying credentials and/or authorization, providing directions, and documenting access issues according to site procedures.
Complete required reports and documentation for incidents, patrols, and observations, and communicate security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts in a timely manner.
