As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help create a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Requirements
- Applicants must have required hospital vaccinations.
- Applicants may be required to work in hospital morgue areas.
- Applicants may be required to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the healthcare environment.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.
- Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and visitor movement throughout the healthcare location.
- Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site staff to address security-related needs and support a secure environment.
