As a Security Officer - Healthcare Lobby Concierge in LENEXA, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a valued member of the Allied Universal team serving at a front desk in a healthcare location, you will play a crucial role in providing a welcoming and secure environment for all visitors and staff. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access points, verifying credentials, and offering exceptional customer service while managing security-related situations with professionalism. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist visitors, staff, and/or patients in a professional and courteous manner at the front desk of the healthcare location.
- Monitor access to the building by verifying credentials and maintaining visitor logs.
- Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and the client site.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed.
- Communicate with healthcare facility staff and/or emergency personnel if an incident or emergency response is required.
- Maintain awareness of surroundings to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity at the front entry point.
- Provide customer service by addressing inquiries or concerns from visitors, staff, and/or patients.
