As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service to staff, patients, and visitors. Requirements

  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Hospital requires proof of vaccines.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to individuals at the healthcare location by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and assist staff, patients, and visitors as required.
  • Document and report incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff and local authorities during emergencies and/or incidents to support a secure environment.
  • Assist with access control, visitor management, and enforcement of facility rules and regulations as directed by site-specific guidelines.
