Job Description As a Security Officer - Healthcare Facility Patrol in Reston, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with staff, patients, and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Handcuff, pepper spray, and/or baton experience is preferred.
CPR and/or first aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies within the healthcare location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, taking appropriate actions as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any unusual conditions.
Communicate and collaborate with healthcare staff and visitors to address security-related concerns and provide assistance as required.
Document observations and incidents accurately in daily activity reports and/or incident logs.
Support emergency response activities according to site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
