As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol healthcare locations, conducting regular rounds to help deter incidents and promote a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Requirements

Vaccinations are required for this hospital site.
Work may involve duties in the hospital morgue.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be able to restrain individuals as required in a hospital setting.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare location.
Conduct regular and random security-related patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter, with duties and conditions that may vary by site.
Observe and report any unusual activity or potential security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Assist visitors, patients, and staff by providing information and directions as needed while maintaining a visible security-related presence.
Support access control procedures and help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas of the healthcare location.
