As a Security Officer - Healthcare Facility Driver in Tuscaloosa, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. You will interact with staff, patients, and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and communication, while supporting a welcoming and secure environment in line with Allied Universal's values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity.

Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor entry and exit points, checking for proper identification and adherence to access control protocols as required by the healthcare location.
Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
Collaborate with healthcare staff and local authorities as needed to support a secure environment.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions and provide reassurance to staff, patients, and visitors.
