As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor entry points, check credentials, and help to deter unwanted incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with visitors and staff, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the healthcare location, verifying identification and credentials for employees, visitors, and vendors in accordance with site-specific policies.
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by responding to inquiries and offering assistance as needed.
Carry out security-related procedures and support emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and site protocols.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate personnel as necessary.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and irregularities according to site requirements.
Collaborate with healthcare staff and Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
