Job Description As a Security Officer - Healthcare Entry Patrol in New York, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned healthcare locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence. Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required as mandated by the client.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or security-related incidents.
• Observe and report any unusual activities or security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification as required by site-specific guidelines.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including assisting with evacuations and/or medical emergencies.
• Maintain accurate and timely logs and incident reports as directed by Allied Universal and client requirements.
