Your role involves monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible to provide a welcoming presence. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. Requirements

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage access control points at the healthcare location to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or breaches.
  • Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering restricted areas in accordance with site-specific policies.
  • Assist visitors, staff, and patients with directions and information while providing a customer service-oriented approach.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter security-related incidents.
  • Document and report any suspicious activity, security-related incidents, or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff and Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure and welcoming environment.
  • Follow emergency response procedures as needed, including assisting with evacuations and/or lockdowns.
