The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment by actively monitoring and patrolling the premise at a variety of client sites. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client's employees and customers. We are seeking a professional and assertive Security Officer to join our Healthcare Division, focusing on the Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong command presence and demonstrate the ability to handle high-stress situations with professionalism and empathy. Responsibilities include ensuring the safety and security of hospital staff, patients, and visitors, managing disruptive individuals (including those under 5150 holds), and responding effectively to emergencies. Prior experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is preferred. Candidates must be comfortable with de-escalation techniques and maintaining a calm demeanor in dynamic environments.
