Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Have supervisory experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entrances, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and help to manage visitor entry, staff interactions, and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols and healthcare location requirements.
• Support staff and guests by providing directions, addressing routine questions, and assisting with security-related requests while maintaining awareness of activity across the location.
