About The Position

As a Security Officer - Healthcare Campus Patrol in Concord, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a PATROL_UNARMED Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment for all. You will interact with staff, patients, and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements

CPR certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare environment in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Observe and report any unusual conditions or activities, including security-related hazards, to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control procedures, including checking identification and monitoring entry and exit points, to help to maintain a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
Support Allied Universal and healthcare facility staff during emergency situations, such as fire alarms or medical emergencies, by following established protocols.
Document all incidents, observations, and activities clearly and accurately as required by site-specific policies and Allied Universal guidelines.
