Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting hospital operations and patient care.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment for all occupants.
  • Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any security-related concerns or unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits and verifying credentials as required by site procedures.
  • Support emergency response efforts by following established protocols and communicating with Allied Universal management and local authorities as necessary.
