Job Description As a Security Officer - Healthcare Access Patrol in New York, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. You will conduct routine patrols and offer exceptional customer service, supporting a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence throughout the healthcare facility.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential security-related concerns.
Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or incidents as per Allied Universal and site-specific policies.
Support access control measures by monitoring entrances, exits, and/or restricted areas in accordance with client and Allied Universal protocols.
Assist patients, staff, and visitors by providing directions and general information as needed, maintaining a helpful and approachable demeanor.
Document all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client procedures.
