Security Officer Healthcare Access Control
About The Position
As a Security Officer - Healthcare Access Control in Malvern, AR , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Assist with access control responsibilities by verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the healthcare location.
- Monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity within the premises.
- Provide customer service to visitors, patients, and staff by offering information and assistance as needed in accordance with site-specific policies.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare facility and its perimeter to observe and report security-related concerns.
- Document all security-related activities, incidents, and observations in a timely and accurate manner.
- Support emergency response activities as required by site procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.
