Job Description As a Security Officer - Headquarters Patrol in San Antonio, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a professional financial institution location. In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Working in a caring, agile, and reliable team, you will contribute with integrity while helping create a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and guests.

Requirements

• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the building, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations.
• Support day-to-day operations by completing incident reports, maintaining detailed activity logs, and assisting with emergency-related directions during evacuations and/or other site events.
