About The Position

As a Security Officer Dispatch Specialist in Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Dispatch Professional with Allied Universal at a leading financial institution location, you will monitor systems, coordinate responses to security-related incidents, and support officers and site contacts through clear communication and strong situational awareness. Requirements

  • 2 or more years of security-related experience are required.
  • 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and appropriate emergency response activities within a financial services location.
  • Monitor phones, radios, alarms, cameras, and/or other communication systems to receive calls for assistance and dispatch personnel to incidents, service needs, and priority situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating updates to site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and/or first responders as needed.
  • Maintain detailed dispatch logs, incident records, and activity reports, helping to support timely communication, accurate recordkeeping, and follow-up on security-related concerns.
  • Coordinate routine and urgent communications across the location, helping to deter unauthorized activity by reporting irregularities, relaying instructions, and supporting site-specific security-related procedures.
