About The Position

As a Security Officer - GSOC Operator in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, assist with coordinating responses to incidents, and help to deter security-related issues. Your visible presence and strong communication skills will support a welcoming environment while delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least 1 year of security operations center experience is required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and coordinate communications for security-related activities within the location, maintaining awareness of all incidents and/or critical situations.
  • Dispatch appropriate personnel in response to alarms, incidents, or requests for assistance, following site-specific protocols.
  • Document and report all security-related incidents and/or irregularities as they occur, maintaining accurate records.
  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by responding to inquiries and offering assistance as needed.
  • Support emergency response activities by communicating information quickly and accurately to the appropriate parties.
  • Collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal team members to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or access.
  • Maintain knowledge of site-specific policies and procedures to carry out assigned duties in a professional manner.
