About The Position
Ethos Protection Services is seeking dedicated and responsible individuals to join our team as Security Officers. This position is part-time and may require working graveyard shifts and weekends. The primary role of a Security Officer at Ethos Protection Services is to observe, report, and deter safety hazards, criminal activities, and physical threats to our clients. Officers are expected to provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times. Each employee will undergo in-house training to ensure they are well-prepared to handle various situations that may arise during their shifts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to our core values of professionalism, integrity, and performance. Professionalism involves being reliable and respectful, while integrity emphasizes honesty and trustworthiness. Performance is about being diligent and motivated to learn and grow within the role. Employees must be flexible with their work availability and may be assigned to specific posts based on the needs of the company and their own availability. Candidates must possess a valid California Guard Card and a driver's license, along with reliable transportation. The role requires excellent report writing skills, time management, and communication abilities. Additionally, candidates should be prepared to undergo a criminal background check and a pre-employment drug test. Cross-training and certification in pepper spray and baton use are preferred but not mandatory. This position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $16.50 to $18.50, depending on experience and qualifications. Employees will also benefit from an employee discount program. The work environment is dynamic, requiring officers to be alert and responsive to various situations while ensuring the safety and security of our clients.
