About The Position

As a Security Officer - Government Unarmed Patrol in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any potential issues.
Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related concerns, or maintenance needs within the location.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members to support a positive environment.
Complete required documentation and incident reports in a timely and accurate manner.
Support access control measures by monitoring entrances and exits as required by the location's policies.
Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines to maintain a professional presence while on duty.
