About The Position

As a Security Officer - Government Unarmed Patrol in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any potential issues.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related concerns, or maintenance needs within the location.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members to support a positive environment.
  • Complete required documentation and incident reports in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Support access control measures by monitoring entrances and exits as required by the location's policies.
  • Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines to maintain a professional presence while on duty.
