Job Description As a Security Officer - Government Site Patrol in Greenbrae, NV , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. Your presence and engagement will help foster a secure environment, while your exceptional communication and customer service skills will support positive interactions with visitors and staff. Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Observe and report any security-related irregularities, such as property damage, theft, or unusual situations.
• Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and/or the public while maintaining a visible presence.
• Work closely with local law enforcement or emergency personnel when necessary, following Allied Universal protocols.
