About The Position

As a Security Officer - Government Perimeter Watch in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Officer, where you will monitor and patrol government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing outstanding customer service. This is an unarmed, driving post requiring a valid driver's license. You will be a visible presence, assisting visitors and staff, while upholding our values of agility, reliability, and teamwork. Requirements

Graduation from a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
A corrections officer license is required.
A law enforcement officer license is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the operations of government locations.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report activities and incidents, maintaining detailed and accurate records as required by Allied Universal and the site.
Assist visitors and employees with inquiries and provide directions as needed, contributing to a positive environment at the government location.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when required, following established protocols.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions and promote a secure environment.
