As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. You will interact with the public, deliver outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly while upholding our values of agility, reliability, and teamwork. Requirements

A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
Work closely with public transit staff and/or the public to assist with directions, information, and basic support as needed.
Maintain a visible presence throughout assigned areas to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to the public.
Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner as required by Allied Universal policies.
