As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government locations, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents and provide support to all visitors and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service while upholding our company's values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Experience with X Ray screening is preferred.
Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, or baton is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor for and report suspicious activity or security-related concerns as observed during patrols.
Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as needed in accordance with site protocols.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential disturbances.
Complete required reports and documentation related to security-related incidents and daily activities.
