Job Description As a Security Officer - Government Patrols Unarmed in Doral, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A college degree is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Handcuff, pepper spray, and baton certification are preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the location and its visitors.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify security-related concerns.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, maintenance issues, or suspicious activities observed during patrols.
  • Communicate clearly with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal team members to support a secure environment.
  • Follow all post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management.
  • Remain alert and observant throughout the shift to help to deter potential threats or hazards within the government location.
