As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated government-related locations to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. Your role includes conducting regular patrols, remaining highly visible, and responding promptly to incidents while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following established security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned government transportation location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activities and identify potential issues.
• Document and report any irregularities, such as property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a welcoming environment for patrons and staff.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Collaborate with local authorities and emergency services as needed during incidents or emergency situations.
