As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and responding promptly to any concerns. You will conduct regular patrols, remain visible to the public, and provide outstanding customer service while engaging with visitors and staff. Requirements

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe for unusual activity or potential threats, and promptly report findings according to site guidelines.
  • Assist visitors and personnel by providing information and guidance in a professional manner.
  • Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal team members and client staff to help to maintain a secure and welcoming environment.
