About The Position

As a Security Officer - Government Patrol Full Time in Sparks, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with the public, and deliver outstanding customer service, all while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and putting people first. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A Private Investigator License unarmed is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or responding appropriately to emergency situations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related hazards encountered during patrols.
Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and/or the public while performing duties.
Follow all site-specific protocols and instructions provided by Allied Universal and location management.
Document incidents and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
