As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a government location, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence and attentive service. You will interact with the public and staff, providing outstanding customer service while supporting a secure environment. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents encountered during patrols throughout the government facility.
Communicate professionally with visitors, staff, and/or contractors while enforcing site policies and procedures as directed.
Assist in controlling access to restricted areas, following established protocols to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Document and report all security-related incidents, hazards, and/or suspicious behaviors in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
