As a Security Officer - Government Patrol Specialist PT in Sterling, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Requirements

  • Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity or suspicious behavior, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or emergencies encountered during patrols.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while representing Allied Universal at the location.
  • Document all security-related incidents and maintain accurate records as required by site protocols and Allied Universal procedures.
