As an unarmed patrol professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents and provide exceptional customer service. You will interact with staff and visitors, respond to situations as needed, and communicate clearly with the team. Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding to emergencies as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Assist visitors and employees with directions and information while maintaining a professional presence.
Maintain detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities observed during patrols.
Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency responders if required during incidents at the location.
