About The Position

As a Security Officer - Government Patrol Rounds in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind to those on site. You will conduct routine patrols, offer exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with the public and team members. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Handcuffing certification is preferred.
Baton certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding to emergencies when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or hazards to the appropriate authorities and/or Allied Universal management.
Maintain awareness of surroundings and communicate clearly with team members and site personnel as needed.
Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and the client site.
Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and assisting visitors as needed.
