As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government locations to help to deter security-related incidents and foster a secure environment. Your visible presence and routine patrols support a welcoming atmosphere, while your strong communication and customer service skills assist visitors and staff. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as required.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and report any irregularities.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs of patrols, observations, and incidents as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with directions and information while upholding security-related protocols.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services if needed, following established escalation procedures.
Participate in ongoing training and adhere to all Allied Universal and client site policies and procedures.
