You will conduct routine mobile and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, respond to calls for service, and document observations clearly. Requirements

Have a minimum of 1 year of security-related experience.
Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site representatives and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and verify identification, visitor authorization and/or deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
Complete detailed reports of daily activity, incidents, observations and/or maintenance concerns using required logs and reporting systems.
Communicate with Allied Universal supervision and site contacts regarding shift activities, patrol findings and/or operational issues.
Operate security-related equipment and systems as assigned, such as radios, telephones, cameras and/or access control devices.
Support government facility operations by providing directions, answering routine questions and assisting with crowd and/or line management during higher-traffic periods.
Conduct checks of doors, gates and restricted areas during patrols and report unsecured conditions according to site policy.
Participate in briefings, training and post order updates, and follow all Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
