About The Position

As a Security Officer - Government Patrol Detail in Saint Louis, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, support access control, and deliver outstanding customer service while upholding our core values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity. Requirements

Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related incidents.
Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or irregularities encountered during patrols.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members while performing patrol duties.
Assist with access control and monitor ingress and egress points as required by site-specific policies.
Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and patrol activities.
Collaborate with Allied Universal management and local authorities as directed in response to emergencies or incidents at the location.
