Security Officer - Government Patrol Coordinator
About The Position
As a Security Officer - Government Patrol Coordinator in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or responding to emergency situations as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for government facilities.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
- Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols.
- Assist visitors, employees, and/or contractors by providing information and directions as needed, while maintaining a professional presence.
- Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner, in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements.
- Work collaboratively with on-site staff and local authorities when responding to incidents or emergencies.
