As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, maintaining visibility, and delivering outstanding customer service and communication. This position is a driving post and requires a valid driver's license.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the government location.
• Control access to the facility by verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel and vehicles.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related issues.
• Document and report any unusual activity, incidents, or security-related breaches according to company and site procedures.
• Collaborate with local authorities and/or emergency responders as needed during incidents or emergencies.
• Maintain a visible Allied Universal presence to help to deter potential disruptions at the government location.
