As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols and help to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible throughout the site. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to all personnel. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license, and offers the opportunity to be part of an innovative and supportive team that puts people first.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any irregularities.
Document and report all incidents, observations, and/or activities as required by Allied Universal and client site procedures.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as needed.
Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management to relay important information and updates.
Remain alert to any unusual activity or potential security-related concerns within the aerospace and defense environment and take appropriate action as instructed.
