As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a prominent government location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. You will interact with visitors and staff, providing exceptional customer service and communication, while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and reliability. Requirements

  • Must be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any unusual situations.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious behavior.
  • Document and report any incidents, hazards, or maintenance needs observed during patrols.
  • Collaborate with local authorities and Allied Universal management as needed for incident response or escalation.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential issues and provide assistance as needed.
