As a Patrol Unarmed professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence and attentive service. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with visitors and staff, and provide outstanding customer service, all while upholding our values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must have at least 5 years of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, observing for unusual activity and reporting findings as required.
Help to deter unauthorized activity through visible patrols and attentive presence throughout the assigned area.
Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and/or members of the public, addressing questions and directing individuals as needed.
Document observations and incidents according to Allied Universal protocols and client requirements.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders when necessary, following established procedures.
