Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the environment at the government location.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Observe and report security-related irregularities, such as property damage, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
Complete detailed and accurate reports documenting incidents, observations, and activities during the shift.
Follow all instructions and protocols provided by Allied Universal and the client to maintain a secure environment.
