As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your role includes conducting routine patrols and providing outstanding customer service and communication to all visitors and staff. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
- Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any unusual or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
- Complete detailed and accurate reports of incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
- Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with access control procedures and answer routine inquiries related to the location's policies.
- Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and on-site contacts to support a secure environment at all times.
