As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with visitors and staff, and provide exceptional customer service while utilizing technology. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Applicants must have at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately to emergency situations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the property and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related issues within the government location.
Maintain detailed and accurate activity logs and incident reports as required by site procedures.
Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns encountered during patrols.
Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and/or local authorities when necessary.
