As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with visitors and staff, and provide exceptional customer service while utilizing technology. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Applicants must have at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
  • Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately to emergency situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the property and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related issues within the government location.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate activity logs and incident reports as required by site procedures.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns encountered during patrols.
  • Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and/or local authorities when necessary.
