As a Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in access control and security-related operations within a government location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, helping to deter potential incidents, and maintaining a visible presence to support a secure environment. Requirements

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Assist with access control procedures by verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by addressing inquiries and offering assistance as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to observe for irregularities and report security-related concerns.
• Enforce site-specific policies and procedures as directed by Allied Universal and the client site.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, and/or unusual occurrences according to established guidelines.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate and assist first responders as directed.
