As a Security Officer - Government Campus Rounds in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, engaging with individuals on-site, and delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any unusual conditions.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or concerns according to company and location protocols.
  • Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and/or the public to provide information or assistance as required.
  • Monitor access points and help to control entry to restricted areas in accordance with location protocols.
