As a Patrol Officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and staff, and respond to incidents as needed. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
CPR or first aid is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any irregularities.
Monitor the premises of government facilities, reporting any unusual activities or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.
Assist visitors and personnel as needed, providing information or directions in accordance with site protocols.
Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary, following established procedures for government locations.
