As a Patrol Officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and staff, and respond to incidents as needed. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • CPR or first aid is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any irregularities.
  • Monitor the premises of government facilities, reporting any unusual activities or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.
  • Assist visitors and personnel as needed, providing information or directions in accordance with site protocols.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary, following established procedures for government locations.
