As a Security Officer - Government Building Patrols in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout government locations. You will remain visible to promote a secure environment, engage with visitors and staff, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by performing security-related procedures in accordance with site-specific policies and protocols.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm and problem-solving manner, assisting with emergency response activities as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity encountered during patrols or while on post.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and any security-related concerns observed at the location.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel when required, following site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
Assist visitors, employees, and contractors by providing information and guidance as needed while maintaining access control procedures.
