As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a government location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a strong presence throughout the property. You will engage with visitors and staff, provide outstanding customer service, and support access control measures. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter potential issues and observe for unusual activity.
Monitor and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or irregularities in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
Communicate with supervisors, team members, and/or local authorities as needed to address incidents or concerns within the government facility.
Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly as part of daily responsibilities.
