As an Allied Universal Security Professional, you will patrol and monitor government locations, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind to those on site. You will conduct routine patrols and deliver outstanding customer service, while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and putting people first. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license that meets company requirements is necessary for this rewarding and dynamic role.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or property damage during patrols.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or the public while performing security-related duties.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site-specific protocols.
  • Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in written reports according to Allied Universal guidelines.
